PULLMAN, WASH – As the election creeps closer, some voters are still undecided. Early voting is at a recent high as people who feel passionate about the current president have made their voice heard.
However, some voters do not like former vice-president Joe Biden or president Donald J. Trump. This can lead voters to vote third party. While these voters are able to avoid voting for someone that they do not like, their vote does not truly play a role in the 2020 presidential election due to the lack of viable third party candidates.
The support for third parties exists, however parties must be established at the base level such as state and city positions before they have a legitimate chance at winning the presidency.
