Washington Governor Jay Inslee came to Spokane Friday to offer public support for Planned Parenthood and send a message to Congressional Republicans.

The Washington state attorney general's office said there is no evidence that Planned Parenthood is breaking any laws.

Earlier this summer, several Republican state lawmakers asked Attorney General Bob Ferguson to look into whether Planned Parenthood broke any laws in how it handles fetal tissue.

The request came after a group opposed to abortion rights released a video that it said showed Planned Parenthood illegally profits from its fetal tissue donation program.
