Pacificorp Offers To Alleviate Klamath Water Shortage By Drawing Down Reservoirs

Paddlers Explore Lower White Salmon River, Blocked For 100 Years

Last week, power company PacifiCorp quietly announced it had finished removing the Condit dam in southwest Washington. It’s the second largest dam removal ever in the United States, and it’s revealed a stretch of the White Salmon River that was lost for 100 years.

Demolition Of Washington's Condit Dam Nearing Completion

Federal regulators have granted a short extension to complete the removal of Condit Dam on southwest Washington's White Salmon River. Originally, demolition crews were supposed to be done with the nearly year-long project by August 31.
