What if William Shakespeare's plays faced off in a tournament, like basketball squads spewing Elizabethan verse? That's the idea behind a bracket that pits 32 of the bard's plays against each another, in a contest arranged by New York's New Victory Theater.

Much like the NCAA basketball tournament that inspired it, the theater has been tallying votes and updating its bracket on its road to Stratford-upon-Avon.

Spring May Not Be Outside, But It's On The Court

Spring is here, and if you can't tell from the temperature outside, you know because yesterday saw the start of the NCAA tournament, in which 68 teams will compete over the next three weeks. And while they're out there playing, the world outside will continue to inch towards the end of winter.

The Ducks Are In The Sweet 16

The Ducks have made it to the sweet 16. The University of Oregon men's basketball team was seeded 12 in the NCAA Tournament. But they defeated fourth seeded Saint Louis Saturday night, 74 - 57.

Gonzaga Fans Nervous After Rocky Opening Game

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University basketball fans are jittery after a near-loss for the small Catholic school with high hopes for March Madness. Gonzaga's men's basketball team narrowly won its first game in the national tournament on Thursday when it played Louisiana's Southern University.

The Zags next play Wichita State on Saturday.

SPOKANE, Wash. - Basketball fans in the Inland Northwest are in a very good mood today. The new Associated Press poll for men's college basketball ranks Gonzaga University number one in the country. It's a first for Gonzaga – and the state of Washington.

Traditional basketball powers like Indiana and Duke,just couldn't hold their grip on the top spot. But Spokane's small, Catholic school kept winning through the weekend, to practically guarantee them the top spot.
