This weekend Dave Matthews returns to the Gorge Amphitheater in central Washington for his annual three-day concert. But it won't be much of a holiday for doctors at a local hospital. The Quincy Valley Medical Center said this summer there's been only a small decline in concert goers coming to the ER.

One of the largest concert venues in the Northwest is in trouble with the Washington Health Department. The Gorge Amphitheater turns into a small city during summer music festivals like Sasquatch and Paradiso. But in a warning letter this week, health officials told concert producer Live Nation that its waste water practices are inadequate and could pose a threat to public health and the environment.

One person died and dozens became ill while attending a concert at Washington’s Gorge Amphitheater this weekend. As Paige Browning reports, drugs were a factor in many hospitalizations.

Today/Friday through Monday is the 12th year of the Sasquatch Music Festival at the Gorge Amphitheater, where more than 20-thousand people will camp and see live music. Paige Browning reports.
