Robert Mott

Jan 7, 2016

Northwest Public Radio recently had the opportunity to sit down with Robert Mott to talk about his 12 years at Washington State and the critical role he played in the development of public radio, both locally and nationally. Bob Mott left commercial radio in Colorado in 1956 to move to Washington State and take a role in the university faculty and in the operations of the broadcast station. In the following interview he talks about what led him to make those changes, and what the radio world was like in the mid-1950s.
