An 18-year-old volunteer firefighter is charged with setting a Monday fire that’s threatening homes about 20 miles northeast of Boise, Idaho.

Investigators say Bartholomew was seen in the area where the fire started. He was then fighting the fire Monday night before being pulled off the blaze. Police say he later confessed.
