Saturday the Oregon State Beavers take on the Washington State Cougars at home in Corvallis. Then a couple hours later, the Oregon Ducks play the University of Washington Huskies in Eugene. The two games will bring a lot of traffic. Officials are urging fans to have a game plan.
Rick Little with Oregon Department of Transportation says he expects more than 30,000 additional vehicles on the road Saturday heading to Reser and Autzen Stadiums.
"This particular series of games also has the added impact of increased traffic from the state of Washington because of the proximity of Washington fans to both Corvallis and Eugene," Little says. "We anticipate seeing many of those people traveled into Oregon to attend these games."
Little advises fans to give themselves plenty of time, drive sober, be patient and be polite. The Beavers and Cougars kick off is at 3 p.m. The Ducks take on the Huskies at 7:30.
Both Oregon teams remain undefeated so far this season.
