Gregoire Urges WSU Grads To Stay True To Their Values
By Glenn Mosley
Washington Governor Christine Gregoire received an honorary degree from Washington State University on Saturday during commencement ceremonies. In her speech, the Governor urged graduates to stay true to their values, to give back, and to be engaged in their world.
Gregoire: “Life’s path is never straight. Risk is a necessity. Mentors are invaluable. Values are critical. And, humility is required.”
Gregoire told the graduates that hard times never last. She said she believes the economy is gaining strength, and that better days are ahead.
