Event Description

Heads, Faces, and Vases Ceramic Sculpture by Andrew Hoeppner September 11 – November 6, 2017 Closing Reception on November 6, 2017 at 6:00pm Technical demonstration on November 6, at 11am, in P101 Heads, Faces, and Vases a is a solo exhibition of ceramic sculpture by Seattle-based artist Andrew Hoeppner. The exhibition explores ideas of identity and the concept of the self-portrait – an artistic format that has deep roots in tradition. “My approach to making art is one that continuously evolves and redefines itself. The work is cyclical in nature as it is a direct reflection of my interests and experiences. Making, play, impulse, humor, and the constant battle of success and failure are the threads that connect each body of work. I use ceramics to explore the physicality of my relationship to the world, as an offering of myself, and how I co-exist daily.” -Andrew Hoeppner CBC Esvelt Gallery Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8 AM-8:30 PM Friday, 8 AM-12 PM Saturday- Sunday, CLOSED
