Description
As the Grandmothers continue to look at the health of our Valley, their next forum will zero in on issues facing all of us as we age. Panel members Mary Cleveland, Program Coordinator for the Office of Aging and Long Term Care; Mike Johnson, Executive Director of the Senior Center; and Chris Howard, Social worker for Walla Walla Community Hospice will discuss the programs and services offered by their organizations for Seniors and their caretakers. Attorney Carol Jean Thompson will address what legal procedures are needed to help seniors maintain as much autonomy as possible. Representatives from the Department of Human Services, Northwest Justice, Providence St. Mary Medical Center, the Red Cross, and Valley Transit will also be available to provide information about their services after the presentation. If you are looking for information to put your affairs in order instead of waiting for a crisis to force you to take action, this forum should provide you with information and support.
