Description
The monoprinting class Laurel taught for the kids' summer series at the barn this year was a real hit, so we are offering a longer, more in depth session, with a holiday theme. SIGN UP FOR EITHER THE MORNING OR THE AFTERNOON SESSION, NOT BOTH. Registration deadline is November 9. The cost is $15. Have fun and get creative! We'll make holiday cards by using natural materials (leaves and pine needles), found objects (ribbons/lace), and cut-outs (snowflakes, pine trees, hearts). This printmaking technique is called monoprinting; each print will be unique. We will cut out images, ink them up, and put them through a printing press. We'll also use natural and found items to ink and print, creating one-of-a-kind cards for the holidays! Laurel Macdonald has been a teacher for over 25 years; she's also a working artist, living in Moscow and exhibiting in various galleries in the area.
